This is an alpine refreshment hut offering the possibility to sleep on site in a dormitory, so do not expect the conditions of a proper lodge. Dormitory with a single bed and mattresses laid directly on the floor, with blankets. During our visit (August 2018), one of the window panes was broken. It was therefore relatively cold. The food is good as the shepherd is a skilled cook who prepares meals according to his guests' wishes. When you call to book, you must specify how much you want to spend and what you would like to eat. As a guideline, for a three-course meal and the night, we paid 90 Swiss francs per person. There is a sink for washing (we also saw a shower but assume the shepherd uses it exclusively). You can drive up to the hut. The shepherd is someone lovely but has a sharp tongue.
