Access

Swiss coordinates: 570760 / 100975. The Bovinette hut overlooks Martigny, located between the Col de la Forclaz and Champex-Lac. Starting point: Les Assets Starting altitude: 1300 m Elevation gain: 340 metres Duration: 1 hour Difficulty: T (Tourist) – very easy and low-intensity route. Forest roads, rural paths or flat trails. Route: From Les Assets, take the marked trail that ascends to Assets d'en Haut (1480 m) then to Bovinette d'en Bas (1621 m). You will then quickly reach the hut. Winter route: Same as in summer.

Hut closed, keys available on request from the manager. Facilities: - Cold water outside the hut - Lighting via solar panels Kitchen: - Wood-burning stoves - Firewood available on site - Cooking utensils and cutlery provided Outdoors: - 2 tables with benches for 15 people.
