A large room with a table, 2 benches, a small kitchen table, a common stove in the corner, not very effective for heating. Although sleeping is prohibited, there is a large, well-maintained loft above. Apart from snow in winter, there is no water in the heights of the Vallée de Joux. The refuge is primarily reserved for forestry staff. If they do not need it, it may be used by hikers under the following conditions: occupancy is limited to one day, sleeping is prohibited except in case of distress, use must be shared with others, no reservations are accepted, fires may only be lit in the stove using fallen wood found on site, the refuge must be left clean upon departure with all waste and empty bottles taken away. The municipality reserves the right to ensure compliance with these rules.
