Access

Swiss coordinates: 561870/147800 From the Orgevaux valley, located above Les Avants on Montreux, follow the Plan de Châtel road. At the end of this road, continue on the path that goes left under the sheepfold. Once on the Plan de Châtel plateau, follow the path straight ahead.

Good to know

26 beds in 2 dormitories of 6, 8 and 12 beds. Kitchen and heating with wood fire, parking for 6 cars, no electricity (solar lighting). Shower now available (August 2018) Difficult access in winter (cross-country skiing, ski touring or snowshoes). Large esplanade and outdoor spit. The hut is only open on request and the keeper does not cook. However, all kitchen utensils are available, including fondue pots. No showers Count 250 CHF to book the chalet and otherwise 20 CHF per night and per adult person. The keys are in a lockable box that can only be opened with the code provided by the chalet manager.
