Always open, contains a table and benches. No sleeping accommodation but you can sleep in the mezzanine (according to a comment from March 2021, the mezzanine no longer exists). If the forestry staff do not need it, the municipality makes it readily available to hikers, provided they comply with the following conditions: the duration of occupancy is limited to one day; except in case of distress, it is forbidden to spend the night there; if necessary, use must be shared with others; no reservation is possible; fire may only be lit in the stove and with all due precautions; the wood used must be supplemented with dead wood found in the surrounding forest; when you leave this hut, you leave it clean and take away your waste and empty bottles. The municipality or state foresters reserve the right to monitor compliance with these rules and take appropriate measures if necessary to prevent any misuse.
