Winter: As the only access is via the Barboleusaz cable car, you must arrive by 4:30 pm at the cable car base, the last ascent being at 4:45 pm. Otherwise by ski or snowshoes. Summer: The Restaurant des Chaux is accessible by car and cable car 7 days a week. The Gryon tourist office has set up a shuttle bus (free with access card) connecting the Barboleusaz square to the "Combe du Scex" hamlet. From there, you can reach the Restaurant on foot (approx. 30 min).
More of a hotel than a hut, but it is one of the few accommodations on the Tour des Diablerets. The Hôtel-Restaurant des Chaux offers six guest rooms (21 beds). All are equipped with a bathroom with shower and toilet. Winter: OPEN from December 24, 2011 to April 9, 2012 7 days a week Summer: The restaurant is open in July and August 7 days a week.
