Good to know

The cabin is fully occupied by the shepherd duo during the summer grazing period (August and September). It is therefore not available for hikers. Outside the summer grazing period, the annex is open (the shepherd's cabin is closed). It can be found by turning right past the shepherd's cabin. The annex contains a sleeping platform without a mattress, a small table, an old wood stove. Water is available nearby (to be treated due to the presence of herds). The upper floor is accessed from the back: small dormitory with 4/5 mattresses.
