- From Le Vernet, take the road that ends as a track leading to the Col de Mariaud where vehicles must be left. Allow 1 hour of walking. - From La Javie, take D107 to Prads Haute Bleone, then take the road to the left before the bridge crossing the Bléone before La Faviere. This road ends as a track to the left after the ford and up to Saume Longue where vehicles must be left. Allow about 1 hour of walking and be cautious at the ford of the granges de l’Immérée in case of flooding.
Magnificent barn with anti-snow buttresses. One part is used during the summer grazing season. - One part is a large refuge room with a mezzanine for 18 sleeping places (18 mattresses available). No stove, poor blankets and poor insulation against wind and cold. - One part is a clean and insulated storage room for equipment, which can accommodate 2 to 3 sleeping places on the floor. Water is available in the valley or at the trough opposite, a 10-minute walk away.
