The Coyer hut is an unguarded hut run by a shepherd. It is located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.

From Méailles or Le Fugeret: reach the end of the forest road of Ruch. Go up the path northwards, then follow the ridge north, a succession of high plateaus, or follow the drove paths on the east flank to the Plan des Mouches. The hut is north of the Plan, with the Coyer slopes behind it. From the summit of Grand Coyer, descend following the trail and the cairns always south, close to the ridge, avoiding scree and small bars as best as possible, to the right of the ridge at the start and end of the descent.
A pallet with a 2-person mattress. Good shelter in case of bad weather. Beware of fog on the plateaus and the Plan des Mouches. A fountain on the building is dry in early July.
