In a hamlet abandoned in the first half of the 20th century, this former chapel was renovated to house a sculpture by land artist Andy Goldsworthy and a refuge. The entrance door still opens onto the abandoned graves of the village's small cemetery. On the ground floor, a room with a table and benches, and a room housing the artwork. Upstairs, accessible by a staircase, a large sleeping area for 10-15 people. No mattresses or blankets. No dishes or tools. A worn broom. A few candles. Latrines in a shed downhill. Abundant wood in the "forest" (pine plantations on former meadows around the hamlet) - but beware of fire in the Mediterranean forest. Guestbook. The guestbook mentions a spring 200m east (and provides its GPS coordinates) - I have not checked. On 16/07/2016, noisy dormice were living in the roof.
