Start from Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye and follow the road along the right bank of the Ubaye River until reaching the last hamlets of the commune of Maurin. Maljasset is the second-to-last, with Combe-Brémont being the "end of the world" 1 km further uphill.

Good to know

Refuge set up in an old house in the hamlet. It is the only one providing a base to access the upper Ubaye area, apart from Chambeyron. It is advisable to call to find out the periods when the refuge is open.
