Access from the Vens refuge (1h30), the Della Lauza refuge or the Ténibre lakes. The shelter is on the Italian side, it is not (barely) visible when coming from the French side. It is located just after a pass.
Shelter listed on the IGN map, at the border with Italy. The refuge is made of stone with a concrete roof. A single large room with broken windows and a door that does not close properly. Suitable for spending a night sheltered from wind and rain but not from cold. Full west with beautiful colors in the morning.
