Departure from the Talarico refuge (large parking area, restaurant) above Pietraporzio. Follow the obvious path P31 (then P31b). The refuge is at the level of the Pas de la Lauze (note that the name is quite common and there are many Pas de la Lauze).
It is a rather rustic bunker but in good condition, always open and not very frequented. There is only a table and a wooden bench, no mattresses or blankets available. It is possible to sleep 3 people on the bench, and a few more on the floor.
