From the village of Montségur, go up the valley of the Asset for 3 km on the forest track (take a left at the first fork, then a path that cuts the first hairpin bend. Avoid the mountain of La Frau, a closed area due to the protection of the Grand Tétra. Just before reaching the end of the valley, a path branches off to the left. Climb 500 m of quite steep elevation gain through the woods.
