Couserans, Les Bordes-sur-Lez, Ayer, Ribérot valley, Pla de la Lau 930m parking (Maison du Valier): Follow the red/white marked path indicating Mont Valier/Les Estagnous, then reach a junction, before crossing the stream, take the yellow marked path on the right, which becomes steeper, it climbs towards Peyralade/Barlonguère passing near several small waterfalls worth seeing. Then go back up the stream on the left bank, the hut is reached by climbing a little to the right before crossing the stream. From the [->5434]: Go down to Étang Rond, climb the south bank to reach Étang Long, which is crossed on the left bank (cable in places) to climb to Port de Barlonguère, which is crossed to descend to the [->5449], continue the descent, go until crossing the stream to pass on the left bank and the hut is reached by climbing a little above the path.
Equipment left side: 1 large wooden sleeping bench, 1 fireplace. Equipment right side: 1 wooden sleeping bench, 2 old worn-out foam mattresses.
