From Siguer, Bouychet car park: head south, then southeast by following the torrent in a gorge where a paved path has been laid out, up to the Pont de la Peyre. After the bridge, continue upstream along the torrent to the Étang de Brouquenat d'en Haut, cross the Jasse de la Mastière, cross back over the torrent to the left bank and climb up to the Étang de Peyregrand. Exit the other end of the pond via a narrow paved section, then follow the left bank of the torrent for 1.5 km before reaching the cabin, which is on the opposite side of the water. Cross where possible; a large cubic rock in the middle of the torrent helps at springtime.
