From Siguer, Bouychet parking lot: head south, then southeast while ascending the torrent in a gorge where a paved path has been built. It leads to the Pont de la Peyre. Just after the bridge, continue ascending the torrent until reaching the Étang de Brouquenat d'en Haut, then cross the Jasse de la Mastière before arriving at the cabin, slightly to the left of the torrent (while climbing).
Solid open cabin, frequented by shepherds, fishermen and hikers. Rustic interior, earthen floor. Equipment: 1 large concrete sleeping bench with 1 old mattress, 1 table, 1 stool, some dishes (pot, pan), 1 grill.
