The Cabane du col de Bayle is an unmanned hut managed by a shepherd. It is located in the commune of Siguer, in Ariège.

On foot from Bouychet (4h): - Follow the valley floor to the Peyre bridge, following the waymarking. - Then climb the steep slope heading N-NE to the ridge. The map shows waymarking that does not exist in reality. From the Pas de l'Escalier (1h40). The track is in poor condition, allow one hour of driving from Norrat. - Follow the ridge heading south, then go east once on the pla de Afumats - Climb towards the Calbe and find a good trail at the level of the source (metal sign) - Follow this trail to the unnamed col at 2114m - Do not follow the ridge but go right onto a cairned path that climbs slightly diagonally, passes above small rock steps and descends to reach the two huts.
Historic hut of the col, which has since been abandoned in favor of a hut built in 1994 and restored in 2000. It serves in summer as storage for equipment for the shepherd who lives in the hut 50m away. It is in poor condition but can serve as shelter in bad weather or fog. A single bed with mattress A wood stove (no wood nearby) A spring 50m lower down, in the valley to the north, tapped for the shepherds. Use it without damaging the installations.
