Same as [->5769] and [->5770], by ascending the entire Najar valley (Savignac valley). 800 m of elevation gain from the end of the road.
Cabin fully renovated in 2014. Good insulation, dishes, metal table and stools. Photovoltaic lighting, fireplace, metal sleeping platforms. Plentiful water in the nearby stream, but no wood in the vicinity. During the chamois hunting season (3 weeks in Sept./Oct., exact dates vary and are set by the Ariège Prefect), the cabin is occupied by hunters.
