Pastoral cabin occupied by the shepherd from June onwards. No path appears on IGN maps. However, a trail marked in red now allows access to the Jasse de Girey cabin from the Najar valley. This trail continues to this cabin, running along the mountainside. In winter, and perhaps in summer, you can pass via Prat Mau, with a little extra elevation gain.
Magnificent cabin! Table + 6 chairs. Dishes (including several pots and a cauldron, useful for melting snow). Three mattresses. A saw. Cans, buckets. Solar panel lighting (not working on 10/04/2016). Gas stove. An additional room exists but was locked during our visit. The stove works very well and is very functional (for starting, cleaning, etc...). Unobstructed view of the surrounding massifs. Numerous animal tracks in the surrounding woods (winter).
