On the north flank of the ridge descending from Cabrespine to Puy de Bassierou (extension of the southwest ridge of Puy Chavaroche). Via tracks from the Col de Légal.

Good to know

Monitored shelter: check availability by calling. Sleeping on low bunks (no mattresses). Fireplace present. Dead wood to be brought up from below. No other equipment. Runoff water only in nearby combes (to be treated - herds). However, there appears to be a spring flowing about a hundred metres below the hut near a fence (also to be treated if necessary).
