Close to the Franco-Swiss border, bordered by the Chemin de la Grande Combe (Val de Joux side), 800 m northwest in a straight line from the border marker 87.

Good to know

This refuge is occupied by a shepherd and his animals. Recently used in winter by the CAF du Haut-Doubs, these premises seem to have returned to their pastoral function. The Commune of Fourcatier-Maison Neuve may know more...? As for the name, it's not a joke... There is a place called "La Gentille", around which two alpine chalets were built at different times: the old one and the new one.
