Almost at the border, on the Swiss side, near the road Les Charbonnières - Mouthe. In winter, the place serves as a starting point for cross-country ski trails.
Wooden building with a loft. The accessible refuge occupies a single room at the front of the building. At the back and on the upper floor, there is an old unoccupied dwelling that was once home to seasonal forestry workers. Single room with a nice picnic table, wood stove and a few utensils (saw, brooms, pots). Outside, a picnic table and a simple bench, flat area.
