Access

You have plenty of options... Except during the season, when the Métabief-Le Morond lifts are operating, tracks and trails ascend from Les Longevilles, Rochejean, etc. This chalet is just a stone's throw from the GR5 and GTJ routes. It can also be reached from the Mont d'Or ridges, from the CAS's homonymous cabin. IGN map 3436 ET.

Good to know

As far as I know, this comfortable chalet-refuge remains very busy as long as there is snow. For precise details on the guarding periods, availability, rates, etc., you must inquire with the CAF du Haut-Doubs. It is easy to imagine that during school holidays, the proximity of the Métabief ski resort may cause some congestion... Well located for ridge crossings, in combination with the Risoux and the Swiss Vallée de Joux.
