Access from the parking area on the Plat road (Poët-Laval). Alternatively, from the old village of Poët-Laval, parking at the cemetery, follow the trail markers. Allow approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from the valley floor.
Quite well insulated and spacious, it can be slept in during winter without issue. There is cut wood available, follow the power line, and there are many wooded areas and dead wood nearby. The fireplace works very well, with plenty of wood available. 2 tables, a bench, and two sleeping platforms (12 people). Some basic crockery (pan and pot), 9 barbecue grills, 3 hand saws, a log saw, a pickaxe, and brooms. Bring an axe or branch cutter. Numerous dormice... There is likely no water nearby.
