At the very end of the clairière de la Revêche. Pass the [->7368] located at 1225m, continue climbing in the hollow of the north-facing meadow, then turn left around 1240m to cross a large mound that gains the last 20 meters of elevation. There are 150m to walk and about 40m of elevation gain in total, but this old cattle shelter is not easily visible as it is well hidden behind a small flat area and under a tree.
Do not confuse this shelter with the [->3533] located half an hour's walk away or with the already mentioned [->7368] about 150m from this spot, 40m lower. This is a very spartan place that will at best provide shelter from bad weather, with no comfort other than a solid roof over your head, which is already not bad in such a remote location. The old all-wood construction is typical of the Bauges, with a tin roof and sturdy beams of good diameter. The floor is made of compacted earth. Be aware that although the roof is watertight, the shelter is still open as there are no closures on two of its sides. In windy conditions, there may be strong drafts even though the location is relatively sheltered by large trees and situated in a small hollow.
