Former alpine chalet, restored in 2013 by the municipality and volunteers. Large building divided into several rooms, including a 100 m² non-heatable space with 2 large tables (separate from the refuge). Maintained by the association Tous à Poêle since 2019. The refuge area consists of a large room with a wood stove, a dining area and a seating area, and a loft accessible by ladder. Shelves with dishes, large table and benches, broom, shovel... A guestbook is available. Outside: new dry toilets (bring sawdust), a sheltered barbecue, a bench to enjoy the view, and a small equipped fountain (but beware, it does not always flow!). The basin was renovated in 2018. In the middle of winter, water may be found in a well located in a small shed above the chalet towards the forest (see [->4846]), when heading towards Les Trois Bornes (about 100 meters to walk). There may sometimes be a 5 cm layer of ice when temperatures drop to -15 °C. Please take good care of it.
