In summer, allow one hour on foot from the parking lot of the Sambuy resort, and also one hour maximum from the Col d'Orgeval. On snowshoes, it takes about 1 hour 50 minutes to reach the chalets of Aulp de Seythenex from the parking lot of the Sambuy resort.
Group of chalets. In the building used as a stable, upstairs, there is a large dormitory under the roof with a few beds (a little over ten) and somewhat worn mattresses, accessible by a wooden ladder. This shelter is freely accessible all year round. A small room slightly separated from the dormitory also has 2 beds (near the access ladder, to the right when going up). No other comfort elements, no heating. No insulation, however, you sleep above cows and goats... (in season) and you also enjoy the smell! Abundant water at the fountain. Cheese (goat tommes) sold at the chalet in season.
