The Chalet refuge La Montagne is a private mountain hostel located in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, in Haute-Savoie. It is run by Liliane and Fernand Audibert.

Access

From Chamonix, starting from the roundabout towards the underground car park, take the direction of Martigny, leave Chamonix and take the first road to the left a few hundred metres after leaving the town, enter the Bois du Bouchet, continue to the left immediately, then it is the first chalet on the right (large courtyard parking).

Good to know

The accommodation service seems to have disappeared from this establishment. According to the Facebook page and Google Street View (since at least September 2019), it is now only a restaurant. Next door is "La Crèmerie Balmat", which is a hotel.
