Access

Montenvers cog railway then cable car since the closure of [->10592] to reach the glacier. Walk up the Mer de Glace on the left bank, then join the moraine when you see a large painted square on the rock. Follow the [->10593] then the path to the hut. From 2h30 to 3h. Caution! Early in the season, snowfields to cross. Required equipment: ice axe and crampons. Marked in yellow.
