Access

Summer access: from Montenvers (1913 m), descend to the Mer de Glace via the cable car after the closure of [->10592]. Follow the hut trail. Take the right side of the glacier and approach the Géant glacier to the foot of the rocky promontory where the hut is built. Climb the equipped passage and take a short trail leading directly to the hut. Allow 4 hours from Montenvers. Winter access: from Aiguille du Midi (3842 m), descend the snowy ridge. Put on skis and ski down the Vallée Blanche to the hut. A very busy route.
