There are actually two huts: the old one (built in 1896) and the new one (built in 1952, renovated in 2015), located just above. Both are on the Italian side, on a sub-peak of [->10672]. The two huts are connected by a covered staircase, while the new hut is linked to the Skyway Monte Bianco cable car station and the Panoramic Mont Blanc cable car by a tunnel.
