Access from Les Allamands, above Samoëns, via Col de la Golèse. Approximately 3 hours, easy. Much more direct and shorter access from Chalet des Mines d'Or.

Good to know

Open from mid-June to mid-September. Off-season and winter by reservation only. Very comfortable hut with hot meals, shower (€2.30), hot water. Bunk beds with good mattresses, pillows, two blankets per person. The wooden frame of the beds forces those over 1.90 m to sleep diagonally, but otherwise it is very comfortable.
