From Prapic, follow southwards the track leading to the chapel of La Saulce and the Saut du Laire. Then head towards the col des Terres Blanches where, after an easy climb with switchbacks, you will find the shepherd's hut on the left.
Most of the hut is reserved for the shepherd during the summer grazing period. The hiker must therefore make do with a part of the upper floor, whose access is located at the back of the building. Inside: a makeshift table and bench, a mattress and nothing to keep warm. Water supply nearby or stream (towards east-southeast) if the tap is closed.
