The most direct/usual access: From Molines en Champsaur, follow the track of the Vallon du Roy, after 1.2km take the trail that climbs steeply on the left in switchbacks and joins the balcony trail (another more picturesque access), turn right and follow a splendid trail to reach the terrace where the Londonnière hut is located. Access takes 1 hour. Return by the other route in the same time.
Water source nearby, two mattresses, old pleasant house with a large fireplace, fairly spacious living area. Table and benches. Nice location. You can continue along the balcony towards the Jas de Jartier (closed), allowing for an additional two hours of ascent. A path leads uphill behind the hut, enabling an excursion into the valley according to IGN.
