Via the communal track connecting the Risoul 1850 resort (about 2 km away) to the road ascending from Sainte Marie (Vars) to Peyrol. On IGN TOP 25 Guillestre map.
- Two locked doors on the ground floor (pastoral equipment from Guillestre, unless mistaken) but the attic is accessible via the stairs behind the hut. - There, the floor is fairly clean and in good condition. Space allowing for around ten sleepers... but you need to sleep soundly as the hut is shared with dormice (which sleep soundly... during the day). A small window can be opened. Insulation seems adequate. Nearby, a potable water catchment is inaccessible and a trickle of water (intermittent?), flowing between cowpats, is present.
