South of Embrun, reach the village of Saint Sauveur via the D39a. Park just above in the hamlet Les Gaillards. Take the forest road heading full East (passing a captured spring). At 1540 m, take a south/southeast path that climbs through the Méale forest to the ridge descending from East to West. At 1900 m, take a small trail leading to the cabin (East).
Open in winter but significant snow clearing is required to open the door. Bed + 2-place mattress. Hang the mattress after use to prevent it from getting damp. Table and chairs. Stove and firewood nearby. Very clean and dry. Small cabin that can accommodate up to 4 people. Please leave it very clean so the shepherd does not close it!!!
