Access

From Embrun, drive to the hamlet of Caléyère, then continue on the road to its end at the Forêt car park (1587m). Then, on foot, follow a path leading to the Fontainiers track near its hut.

Good to know

The hut is located in a magnificent larch forest. It was closed by the municipality of Embrun due to repeated damage. However, it is possible to request the key from the Embrun town hall in exchange for an ID card (since then, the hut has likely been refurbished). A spring can be found above the hut, near a private chalet. Inside the hut, there is a fireplace, a table, and sleeping places for 5 people (simple planks, no mattresses).
