From Héas (where there are numerous parking spaces), go up the road towards Troumouse and turn left before the toll gate onto a trail. 150 m further on, take a left turn towards the Hourquette de Héas, and keep straight ahead on the trail towards Troumouse. The trail then ascends to the left of a stream. Around 1750 m, leave a water intake on the left and continue on the same side of the stream. You arrive at the Pla at 1881 m, cross the stream on a footbridge. The hut is a little further on. Allow 1 hour of ascent from Héas.
No wood in the vicinity. Camping is possible (flat ground). Water available (stream or spring at the oratory).
