From Héas (where there are numerous parking areas), go up the road towards Troumouse and turn left before the toll gate onto a trail. 150 m further on, turn left towards the Hourquette de Héas, and leave the trail towards Troumouse straight ahead. The trail then climbs to the left of a stream. Around 1750 m, leave a water intake on the left and continue on the same side of the stream. You arrive at the Pla at 1881 m, do not cross the stream and continue on the left bank of the trail which passes in front of an oratory and resumes the ascent. Around 2250 m, the trail reaches a second hanging valley. The hut is there.
Shepherd's hut, reserved for shepherds, but left open when they are not there. A nearby stream (to be treated). No wood in sight. The hut has only one room, with two low bunks, and a fireplace.
