The Packe refuge is an unguarded cabin located in the Hautes-Pyrénées, managed by the Club Alpin Français de Lourdes-Cauterets. It is situated on the northern slope of Pic Long, in the Néouvielle massif.

Unguarded refuge open at all times. The CAF de Lourdes-Cauterets requests a contribution of 8 euros per person to be placed in a box inside the refuge for firewood reserves and refuge maintenance, but the refuge is not guarded. There are 8 comfortable mattresses and at least as many blankets. The nearest water point is the Lac du Pourtet, about 400 meters behind the refuge. Drinkable with a filter without issue. 4G available just behind the refuge, against the wall. Small solar-powered neon light, but no electrical outlet. The shutter of the small window on the sleeping side cannot be opened without risking falling out of the window. Miscellaneous equipment: two wood saws (no wood nearby except the refuge's reserve managed by the CAF), snow shovels outside the refuge.
