Basic shelter. 4 thick walls without windows, a metal door held by a single hinge that must be blocked to ensure it stays closed, a waterproof roof, earthen floor, rocks inside that can serve as benches. No equipment except a snow shovel without a handle. Commemorative plaques recall the heroic history of the Oisans Maquis Hospital in 1944.
