A trail above the shelter leads to a small pass, where it connects to the path ascending to the refuge des Jarlons. Very nice cabin, apparently recently rebuilt. No mattresses, no roof insulation (tin). Can sleep 4 people on a loft floor. Wood-burning stove. Furnished ground floor (table, benches, chairs). Water and wood nearby. No latrines. This cabin may serve as an overflow if the refuge des Jarlons is full. In winter, it must be very cold (north-facing). Mobile network: good signal (Orange) in front of the cabin + 3G.
