Not far from [->19] and the high plateaus, 1.5 hours from the road below (place called "Le Château" ([->207])). WARNING the road is blocked due to a landslide at the first parking area (Fournaire). The balconies trail towards Col de Ménil is diverted by the mayor's decision shortly after Dent de Die due to possible landslides. Landslide on the Balcons des Glandasses road at the Pas du Pison (dated 15/10/2012).
Water: [->1216]. A small spring 1.5 hours along the balconies trail to the south or at Pré Peyret. The shelter is fairly well maintained, with a stove, a large table, and a bench. The shelter appears well insulated and practical. Renovated by the ONF in 1999 according to the logbook. Broom/shovel. No saw or axe. October 2025: Mezzanine can accommodate 5 people + 3 on the ground floor benches. New kitchen area with dishes, pots, bowls, cutlery, candles, salt, pepper. Pantry (fragile), opening at 3.0 :) Improved stove outlet sealing. New staircase with reinforced handrails. New ground floor benches. Wonder shelf. Outdoor benches and tables. Wood shelters.
