Almost everyone arrives from Col du Rousset in less than 2 hours, via the ridges. You can also climb up from Chamaloc (Die road), the path along the ridges and the Pas de Chabrinel, but do not do this in case of snow, it is narrow and steep. In any case, be careful when approaching the hut: it is slightly in a hollow and the paths coming from all directions become confusing.
11/2014: reopening of the hut after restoration and improvement works. This hut holds the record for the highest number of visitors in the entire Vercors. It is a stone cabin. 1 room with a stove and a small table, and 10 places on the lower side, all others sleep upstairs on the floor. The [->1182] located 100 m to the south is easily dry or covered by snow. The attic is not always open (+10 places). INVENTORY: as of January 2025: a broom, a shovel, a saw.
