Access

From the Pré Peyret refuge eastwards, then northeast, climb up the Plaine de la Queyrie to the Carrières Romaine. From the quarries, follow a marked path southwards into a hollow where the Bergerie de Peyre Rouge is located. Alternatively, from the Bergerie de Jasneuf north-northeast via a similarly marked path.

Good to know

Occupied by a shepherd and closed the rest of the year. No guarantee of shelter. Hikers, be self-sufficient during your journey just in case! Nearest water point: fontaine des Endettés.
