Many people climb via the Pas de l'Aiguille on foot or on cross-country skis ... I do not know (see however the photo and comment from CT-CONNEXE dated 29 January 2007). When arriving from [->16], it is easily found at the bottom of the last descent. Coming from the other side ([->19] ...), it is less easy as it is hidden by a hill. It can also be reached from [->2011] by crossing the Rochers du Parquet. Part of the route is along a ridge with a splendid view of the [->1237]...! Access by public transport: SNCF line from Grenoble to Gap. Stop at Clelles. 8 km of paths (including 2 km of tarmac) from the station, take the path north of the D7, then via "le Château Vieux", Donnière, cross La Richardière, then climb the Pas de l'Aiguille (600m elevation gain). It is a hexagonal wooden hut. A large table, a central stove but no wood supply (trees nearby), large bunk beds. 2 wood saws, a shovel and a broom. Very busy: prepare mentally to sleep on the floor, and/or bring a backup hut. A stream with water all year round, even in the height of summer, flows 10m from the hut. The [->1967] above will provide water. OUTDOOR FIRES PROHIBITED! This ban is clearly stated on the door. Please respect nature.
