Access

After crossing the Pas de l'Aiguille and passing the memorial, the cabin is on the right, facing the pond, 200 m before reaching the [->18].

Good to know

Owned by the municipality of Chichilianne, managed by the association of the Skieurs du Mont-Aiguille (SMA). Although it appears on the latest IGN 3236OT map (and Géoportail) as an "ABRI" icon, this cabin is not open to the public, so the key must be collected in Chichilianne. Mobile network: reception is roughly 1/5, likely due to echo, about 20-50 m north of the cabin, while there is no signal inside. However, Free and Orange work when opening the window upstairs. Otherwise, go to the memorial towards the Pas de l'Aiguille for better reception. Source (not shown on IGN map) under the snow, which never freezes, east of the cabin: head towards the stream in the valley, on the right bank, past three fir trees. PS: the source marked on the IGN map freezes in winter. There are no latrines. Do not use the area behind the Pas de l'Aiguille memorial for personal needs.
