Access is via the Combeau valley and l'Essaure in 2 h (see the l'Essaure refuge) or via Richardière and the Chamailloux refuge, which is longer.

Good to know

Four walls, a roof, a dirty floor and that's it. The structure appears fairly watertight but offers minimal comfort. No table, bench or stove. The adjacent shepherd's house is private and closed. It is better to try to sleep at Chamailloux or at l'Essaure, which are very close.
