A little south of the Chamousset sheepfold. The Chamousset sheepfold is classically reached either from Combau and the Essaure refuge, or from the Pas de l'Aiguille and the Chaumailloux refuge.

Good to know

Small traditional construction of shepherds from the past, made only of stones. The main interest is architectural, the type of construction. Borie used by the shepherd to store his equipment. No comfort, no amenities. One person can lie down inside in a curled-up position. Suitable for sheltering from the south wind (in case of north wind, prefer the [->3546]). In winter, bring a snow shovel to clear snow from inside.
